Instead of being cut to straight lines, the solid wood board keeps its original contours. It is finished and sealed to help resist moisture, warping and daily wear, which makes it a practical pick for damp rooms as well as dry ones.
Secure wall support matters, especially if you plan to load the shelf with books or other heavy items. Mount it into studs or with anchors rated for the weight you intend to hold. Once installed, the shelf looks as if it is growing straight out of the wall, with no visible hardware.
Each board has its own knots, grain and edge profile, so your shelf will differ slightly from the photos. It is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop, giving you a piece with real individual character.
Shipping is completely free on all U.S. orders. Every piece is built to order from solid hardwood, crated with reinforced timber framing, and delivered curbside by specialized freight.

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Any order arriving damaged, chipped, or with a workmanship flaw is repaired or replaced free of charge.

Solid hardwood, carved and finished by hand. Grain, knots and colour vary naturally from piece to piece - that is the character of real wood, not a defect. Made to order: we send you photos of the raw carving to approve before finishing; allow about 3-4 weeks door to door.
