Biophilic Sculptural Solid Wood Tree Bookshelf
Stand it against an accent wall in a living room or reading alcove and it holds a whole shelf's worth of books along with ceramics and plants. The Biophilic Sculptural Solid Wood Tree Bookshelf rises from a grounded root foot as a solid hardwood trunk and branches into five level shelves.
Five staggered solid wood platforms sit at different heights, giving room for heavy stacks of books, large art volumes and decorative objects. The uneven spacing lets tall and short pieces share the same frame.
The trunk rests directly on the floor with a horizontal base runner, so the load goes downward rather than onto the wall. Because the form is tall and asymmetric, fixing the upper trunk or branches to wall studs with concealed anti-tip brackets is strongly recommended.
Height and branch width can match your ceiling, baseboard or alcove. Thicker ledges or another stain, such as dark walnut or natural matte, are available at an added cost.
Solid hardwood varies in color and grain and moves slightly through the seasons, so your piece will be one of a kind. It is handcrafted to order.
Shipping is completely free on all U.S. orders. Every piece is built to order from solid hardwood, crated with reinforced timber framing, and delivered curbside by specialized freight.

Solid hardwood, carved and finished by hand. Grain, knots and colour vary naturally from piece to piece - that is the character of real wood, not a defect. Made to order: we send you photos of the raw carving to approve before finishing; allow about 3-4 weeks door to door.
