This bench is handmade from solid natural wood, and the live edge keeps the outline of the original board in view. You can follow the grain and texture along the seat, so the piece feels personal rather than mass produced.
Every entryway is a little different, so the bench can be tailored before work begins. Size, finish, paint color and smaller design details are all open for adjustment.
Use it as a spot to lace up boots, set down groceries, or let a guest wait a moment while you find your keys. It also brings rustic warmth to a mudroom or the foot of a staircase.
Because natural wood varies from board to board, expect slight differences in color, grain and finish. Each bench is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop, so yours will carry its own character.
Shipping is completely free on all U.S. orders. Every piece is built to order from solid hardwood, crated with reinforced timber framing, and delivered curbside by specialized freight.

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Any order arriving damaged, chipped, or with a workmanship flaw is repaired or replaced free of charge.

Solid hardwood, carved and finished by hand. Grain, knots and colour vary naturally from piece to piece - that is the character of real wood, not a defect. Made to order: we send you photos of the raw carving to approve before finishing; allow about 3-4 weeks door to door.
