S-Curve Wooden Floor Lamp

Evenings on the sofa get a lot cozier when the corner lamp glows from two directions at once. The S-Curve Wooden Floor Lamp is a tall column of solid driftwood that sways left, crosses back right, and straightens up to a tapered linen shade.

Two Windows of Light

Two big oval openings are carved through the body, one at each bend, turned about a quarter turn from each other. A warm LED strip runs up the hollow core, so both openings fill with amber light and spill soft pools onto the floor and the wall. Walk around the lamp and the openings appear and disappear in turn. A single inline dimmer on the cord adjusts both the core glow and the shade bulb at once, from reading light down to a gentle night glow.
