The Solid Wood Christmas Live-Edge Fireplace Mantel Shelf works best above a fireplace, where it holds garland and candles in December and framed photos the rest of the year. It is cut from one thick, heavy slab of solid wood.
There is no hollow core, particle board or veneer here. The front edge keeps the natural curve of the tree, carved and sanded by hand until it is smooth to the touch. Knots, grain variation and warm tones give each mantel its own face.
Mount it over brick, stone or an electric fireplace as the room's focal point. It also works as a heavy-duty floating shelf in an entry, living room or home office. The deep top surface gives you room to layer objects rather than line them up in a single row.
Because the slab is thick, the mantel is heavy. It must be secured to solid masonry or wall studs during installation.
Each mantel comes from a natural slab, so knots, small checks and the line of the edge will differ from the photos. No two are identical. Every piece is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop.
Shipping is completely free on all U.S. orders. Every piece is built to order from solid hardwood, crated with reinforced timber framing, and delivered curbside by specialized freight.

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Any order arriving damaged, chipped, or with a workmanship flaw is repaired or replaced free of charge.
