Solid Wood Wall Clock With Oval Dial & Biomorphic Cutouts
On a column in the living room or by the front door, the Solid Wood Wall Clock With Oval Dial and Biomorphic Cutouts feels more like a sculpture you happen to tell time by. Its flowing vertical outline is opened up by rounded cutouts, so your wall color and the passing light become part of the piece.
Carved from solid wood, the panel shows sweeping grain, gentle color shifts and a warm satin finish. At a standard thickness of about 2.5 inches (6.4 cm), there is depth for soft beveling around each opening, while the cutouts keep the overall look light. Thickness can be increased or reduced for an added fee.
It pairs well with stone floors and terracotta pots in a covered patio, loggia or sunroom, next to tall windows or masonry in a living room, or in an entryway. Its weight calls for secure mounting into studs or masonry with heavy-duty French cleat hardware. Wipe with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from strong heat.
Each clock is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop, so grain movement and tone will vary, and the wood may shift slightly with humidity.
